The choices we make are like dominos. One push, one decision not only affects you, but all those in the world. Because, inevitably we are all interconnected-interwoven into each other. We all know each other by proxy-we are all distantly related. You unknowingly cross lives with every person. Your little "half-truth" that you told yesterday might have been convenient for you, but it violates the law of integrity. Your deception causes the listener of your lie to think something untrue-which then gets repeated- and so on and so on and so on...etc. Again, an endless cycle of lies and false evidence. Now, let us switch the circumstance around. Imagine, being confronted with the temptation to lie-or tell the uncomfortable truth to your loved one. By telling them the truth, they might have to endure slight emotional pain to their new realization, but they will change and grow. Their personal change and growth will be noticeable to those in their lives-bringing encouragement, inspiration, and enlightenment to others. Truth is a double edged sword-piercing down even into the marrow. An eternal flame burning away all the dross- to leave only beautiful-purified silver. This is the Domino Effect. Make a choice.
