Chapter 1

I'm Cailin. Where do I begin?...well, it's complicated. I live with my mom and stepdad. My mom obviously married this guy for money. It's all about image when it comes to her. I have to wear all the designer clothes, not a hair out of place, and never leave the house without make-up. All of our dirty little secrets must remain buried and no one is allowed to even whisper about them. I get a release every other weekend when I get to visit my dad. I live for those weekends...until those secrets follow me there. My worlds are colliding and I'm silently screaming for help. The person I am forced to be is so totally not me.
