Chapter 1 : "Dear Diary"

Jeff Sterling gets taken from his house and put in a foster home after his dad gets reported for child abuse. Jeff is extremely scared and believes he can't do single thing wrong or else he'll get hit. His foster family doesn't have a lot of money, so he has to room with the family's daughter. Will she be able to help him learn to trust again? Or will his dad gain custody and mess everything up?
