Hestia Vova tries to live a normal life, as normal as she can when the world is in ruins. She does the same things as every other young woman in the Metropolis: wait for the daily oxygen flow, learn, survive. Hestia's first day in the fields beyond the curved border is fast approaching, putting her life at stake every day. But what Hestia doesn't know is that despite her efforts to be normal, she is far from a regular teenage girl in the Metropolis. She possesses a gift that even she isn't aware of, and she is one of four known people to possess this gift. The gift that could lead to the end of the isolation and the burial of the darkness that engulfs the earth.
