"Well I'm glad we were finally able to find you, Leyana has been going crazy trying to find you, we know you couldn't have gone far without turning back so we waited." Again he met silence, no words coming from her side of the room, her face looked tortured, her corneas were red with blood vessels irritated and the area around her eyes were damp and tired. She tried her best to appear everything except emotional but she failed miserably, when she looked him in the eyes he almost shivered from the ferocity held in the honeyed orbs. When she fell onto the couch he knew something was wrong. Crossing the space between them in a matter of seconds and kneeling in front of her he rested a hand on her quivering thigh. "Adira, what's wrong? Has something happened?" The far away look told him he was dealing with something that he had no idea how to, she couldn't focus on him, she didn't even meet his eyes. She simply looked forward and swallowed the bile of emotion rising in her throat. Cupping her cheeks in his hand he made her look at him, glassy eyes barely made their way to him until she snapped onto his vision, focused emotions intensified on the dark blue eyes that filled with concern.
