Nico is a broken kid in all aspects. His parents have left him when he was still young, now he is abused by his new 'family' that consists of his aunt, uncle, and his cousin. The uncle is a drunk and takes out his drunken rage on Nico, calling him, "a monster" and other slurs.

Alex is a smart, athletic, and good looking guy. He's also the heir to the Silver Bane wolf pack. Alex transfers schools because of a little trouble in his last school. Now he is making a fresh start at Wolf Creek High School.
