Elijah Johnson or "Ej" is a 17 year old teenager in the humanities and art school for singing and dancing, but you could never tell since he been taking care of his baby sister, Emilia since he was 10 after his mother's death. He basically was placed in a living hell since he was 2 because of his drunk and abusive father, and never wanting his sister to see the things he has, he's willing to do everything to keep his mom's promise. The girl he's been crushing on since middle school finally sees him and is afraid of her judging him based off their 2 different back rounds. What will he take a chance on her? Kayla Parrish is 17 years old as well and has a "great life" she's has an amazing dancer, great singer and artist. Has a famous older sister who is known as Kehlani, a gorgeous brother who also dances, lives in a wealthy home with its own dance studio, and is pretty well known around her school. Basically her family is the classic come up story but with her only being little she didn't really do much, thus her being spoiled minus the brat part of it. Her perfect world slowly diminishes when she comes to see her "friends" true colors, and hears things about her parents that she wouldn't even think were true. Will she follow what others tell her to be or will she go with what makes her truly happy?
