Freeing Us

Marceline Valencia was fifteen years old at the time, before that day happened. She and her brother Jace were trapped in their step-father's basement, with no one to help them.
At one point in their life, they are suddenly recalled by a memory from their mother, before she died from the illness.
A memory that leaves Marceline with questions, and tears.

*Note - This takes place in the 1300's, and I decided to use TYE setting, but using an oc. This story is also made for the "Fandom in Time" contest.
