Amelie Davidson lives with her monster of a mother who used her as a slave. She also uses Amelie to hide the fact that she cheats on her husband whenever he goes on trips for work, which is at every other week. The only escape Amelie gets from her terrible Mother who beats her all the time is her father. He knows nothing about Amelie being beaten or his wife cheating on him. That is, until he reveals that he is actually Alpha Joseph Davidson of the Bloodmoon Harvest pack and learns about all that happened with his wife and daughter. Amelie finds out a family scandal! Her monster mother isn't Even her Mom!!! Amelie's dad takes her to his pack to keep her safe but doesn't want Amelie to know about wolves.
