"I have an idea." He replied, confirming my thoughts. "One that will hopefully get you out of bed." I didn't know if I liked the sound of that. For some reason, the thought of leaving my room, let alone my bed, scared me. Though the world may have not changed, I can only imagine what terrors lie past my bedroom doors. "What is it?" I asked, my voice crackling with anxiety. Maybe it was my time spent in this room, or maybe simply because I was becoming an adult, but I felt myself change. I became more quiet, more thoughtful. Then again, I thought. Maybe it's just because I've become deliriously trapped in my own head. None the less, I turn towards my boyfriend in hope that maybe he can help me out of the hole that I've seemed to dig myself into. Cameron just smiled as his lips parted, letting out the words that would seamlessly change my summer forever.
