When Maria a Muslim Pakistani moves out of Dubai to San Francisco, she has to start a different life in the western society. She realizes that she's so different from the people here because and it's very hard to fit in high school. She struggles through alot like fights, friendships and relationships and has to lie to her parents just so she could have freedom.
