It's been about eight years since the last book. Everyone is an adult now.
Evangeline has taken up a job at a nearby law firm as she graduated with a law degree. When things turn bad for her firm, they have to fire Evangeline because they can't afford her salary.
She has to take a new job. While it's not the most ideal workplace, it has to suffice for her.
When a new group of villains start terrorizing local citizens and magic users, the group has to get back together.
The quest to find her friends would be hard without help. How will she hunt them down? In the meantime, how will she stop the villains on her own?
