Author's Note

Kaneki Ken was taken from his parents by the Hyakuya Sect at the young age of five years old. Years later, he was transferred to Hyakuya Orphanage where he met Yu, Mika and Hide. Those were peaceful years, and though he wasn't quite human like the rest of the children, he was happy.

That is- until the trumpets of the Apocalypse signaled the downfall of humanity. Since then, he's lived a life of tragedy, tortured by vampires and mistrusted by humanity. In a world of demons, will Ken Kaneki be the savior of humanity? Or will he be the end of them all?
