Chapter 1

"Well my father always said: if you have the shot, you take it." Chuck quoted. "No! There's gotta be another way!" I exclaimed, I was going for the mic, but Hercules held me back. "So lets do this!" Pentecost said to Chuck. "No!" I cried, my knees felt weak, but I kept struggling against Hercules.

"It was a pleasure, sir." Chuck said sadly, I gasped hearing the explosion on Raleigh's end and the base slightly trembled. "NO!" I screamed falling on my knees, Hercules fell with me, so he just took a hold of me as I was sobbing on him.
