Spencer (Overview)

Life is a constant struggle for thirty-two-year-old Ryan Spencer. He's a high-school English teacher and the single father of a daughter who is half his age. When he’s not being mistaken for his daughter’s boyfriend, being ridiculed, or being romantically interrogated by his female students, he's constantly finding another teaching job at another school. It's not easy keeping a job with his daughter’s habit of fighting to defend the both of them. With no one to turn to and being financially unstable, Ryan must find a way to support his daughter, get through the judgment that comes with being a teenage father, and find the happiness that has disappeared from he and his daughter’s lives.
