Dejah has had a rough life. Her dad ran out on her when her mom was pregnant. Her mom struggled to keep food on the table for them and is now sick. She just wants to make it out Philly.

Demarco has had a rough life too. His dad died when he was 15. He has made it his obligation to make sure that his family is straight. His mom, brother, and sister. He is the person who runs the game in Philly.
