There goes a saying that a man needs a companion to experience life truly to the fullest. I guess you could say that my companion was Dylan. He was mine & I was his. In a friendly type of way not a romantic way.
You see we both found each other in our early teen years. Dylan and I both knew that we were meant to be companions without really knowing It in the first place. It just sort of happened. He understood me in most ways unlike anyone else can.
It was clear cut in the early stages of our friendship that we were meant to be. As in friends. nothing more.

Until five years later and a love triangle brought me here to finally accept out loud "Holy shit, I am in love with my best friend."
