Mandy told me that protecting my heart was the only way to survive in this world. She said that if I hardened my heart I'd never get hurt. I'd never be disappointed or let down. Mandy told me not to fall in love - that it would be the end of me. But I just couldn't help myself. Time and time again I put my heart on the line. And in those moments, all I can hear is her begging and pleading with me. Don't fall in love. But the thing is that I didn't fall.
