Her father was the Beta for the last Alpha, and her mother was the daughter of a Beta from another Pack. Thea knew what the consequences of denying her wolf meant; to deny her wolf is to deny her whole self, a consequence that she had chosen to embrace full-heartedly. She never had a choice. Thea knew that she was losing herself, and that she couldn't do anything to stop it. It killed her brother Rhys to see his baby sister like this. He knew that the only way to get her to reunite with her wolf would be to reunite her with the one who started this all, Alpha Alastair. --- It had killed Alastair when he found out that his mate was Thea. He fell in love with her when they were pups, constantly finding themselves in the most amusing troubles as they ran off together. But she had problems, problems that not even he could handle.
