Description
My mother died when I was fourteen due to excessive blood loss in the process of giving birth to my little sister. That's when it all started. My mother was my father's everything. She was his every devotion to life but...when she died, it's like he flipped a switch. He became angry, aggressive, and frustrated. It was probably to conceal the anguish and sorrow he was suffering from the loss of his soulmate... Shortly after, he began to take his frustrations out on me. Probably because I looked exactly like her. A spitting image...only darker. He started treating me in ways that a father shouldn't treat his daughter. Now I'm seventeen, almost eighteen. I could have run away a long time ago but I have to raise my sister; make sure that she has a roof over her head and that she's provided for. It's not just me I have to consider in the matter. But my plans change drastically when given a startling proposition after discovering the veracity of my relationship, as well as my condition. Do I accept the terms, permanently altering my life? Or do I run for the hills as fast as the wind can carry me?
