Prologue

Vallena, a young Avariel girl, must venture from her safe island in the sky down to a wild, untamed land infested with the most abominable of races: Trolls, Orcs, Goblins, and Humans. Vallena is entrusted with a most important mission: to recover the four Godshards and return them to the heart of the universe. If she succeeds, the monsters will be destroyed and the Below-Land will be returned to peace. If she fails, the sky will go dark and an unknown entity will engulf all the worlds in eternal darkness, killing all life. The only thing that can stop this fate is young Vallena...
