Battered and Bruised

Jayda Quinn was not your normal teen; she kept to herself, made no friends and always had bruises on her face. Her classmates thought she was insane but they didn’t know the real story. Her father was a drinker, which led to her abuse; she took it of course not knowing any better. On the last day of school she didn’t show up, her best and only friend Alex Lancaster immediately thought the worst and ran to her house.
