After two years of being away from her father and the life he leads, Dani finds herself back on his doorstep with the only hope that it will only be for another eight months, until she can turn eighteen and move away. But trouble follows her father - and in turn her - in the way of the gang he leads, and not only that, but her ex-boyfriend Michael is a key member who just won't leave her alone. Her only solace is in finding a job and spending her time with the friends she was forced to leave behind.
