Amelia's mother, killed herself about 5 years ago, that day her father started drinking, a lot. That day he started abusing Amelia. For 5 years Amelia has lived lying like this untill a new boy joins their class. There is just something about him that makes Amelia feel safe, he makes her want to tell all her secrets.
