The book talks about a teenage girl Jaida Nunez who was born in Bronx,New York ,and was raised without a father . Jaida receives a message on 'SkyClique ' a social network from a African American boy name Kyle ,then starts going on dates with him .And Jaida also finds out her bestfriend Kathrine use to date Kyle last year . Jaida gives birth to Kyle son Kaishawn ,Kyle mother (Evette ) gets diagnosed with cancer and had a seizure , Kathrine her bestfriend get rapes by her father that was released from jail and she also gets raped by an unknown boy the same day .Kyle and Jaida get their own house to raise baby Kaishawn in.
