Chapter One

"The day I met her I hated her. She was cocky, conceited, and egotistical. We were in all the same classes where she would make a fool out of me. It wasn't until she broke down in front of me that I learned who she truly was. She was broken and I tried picking up the pieces. She was a beautiful rose with thorns that protected her from the ugly world. I quickly bonded with her and learned all her secrets. My whole world shattered the day I found out..." I stopped talking. I wasn't ready to open up about the girl I loved.
