The world has turned against superhumans. After a terrible, wanton act of destruction by a known superhero, the supers have been forced into hiding. They have formed a city called Haven, far from human civilization, in the hopes of finding some peace ... Teenager Hal Whittaker cares little for the affairs of superhumans. His days are filled with school and teasing the quiet, nerd Diana Crocious, who never gets a wrong answer. Unfortunately for Hal, when he and Diana are attacked by mysterious assailants, he discovers his powers and becomes a wanted man himself. With the assistance of some experienced superhumans and a set of inexperienced twins, Hal must try and survive while protecting the city of Haven. Will the supers ever be accepted again, or is destruction the only thing they have to look forward to?
