Chapter One: To The Toppermost Of The Poppermost

"I'd like a cup of tea please. Two sugars." Paul stated, not taking his eyes off of the pretty lady standing before him.

She giggled at his request. "Tea at a coffee shop? What a rare thing."

"Well, it's a rare thing to find a beautiful bird like you working in only a small coffee shop like this." The lad mentioned, causing his cheeks to tint to the color of a rose.

"I guess we've both seen a rare thing today, 'aven't we? It's just tha' I've seen not only one," She looked the young boy in his doe hazel eyes and smiled. "but two."

And with that, she went off to make his tea.
