River of Heartache

Riva Veronica Valeriano or River lives in the backpack strapped over her shoulders. At eighteen, wala na siyang permanenteng tirahan. Palipat-lipat siya ng lokasyon. She has always been on the move. She keeps on running 'til she has nowhere else to go and ends up having only two options left: to be killed by the people who chase after her or to die by her own hands.

But as she is plummeting to her death, she suddenly finds herself transported back to early 1500's Pre-hispanic Philippines and gets trapped amid the dispute of Luzon's powerful kingdom.
