Prologue

Two children from Earth, abducted by aliens, help establish a society on Mars and build a galactic government, but Earth isn't part of it, and what follows is a young girl's quest to understand the world in which she lives, and to change it for the better, by any means necessary. It is also the story of a family trying to mend broken relationships, planets on the brink of war, and a corporation's efforts to undermine and manipulate governments throughout the galaxy, and beyond.
