Part 1/ Awake

Kate has a little brother who's 6 and has two friends. He wakes her up almost everyday asking to go over there. His friends house was just a corner away so they walk. Kate likes to listen to her music and take walks around the block. So whenever her brother goes to his friends she has to walk around and keep an eye on him but what she sees walking one day scars her for life.
