these words are launched at us faster than the V2 missile
oh and have fun picking through
a selection of weight loss products
because you KNOW you're fat

confidence is the new gorgeous
since forever we have been looking up to the expectations
of the women on the front cover of the magazine
but what do they really portray?
they steal our inner beauty and instead stick knives in us
until our insecurities are out
we are no longer sitting around whilst people criticize us
we don't take in those words anymore
we don't find them painful anymore
we will love ourselves for who we are
feel amazing in the body our mother so gently molded in her own
and take pride in our looks with or without makeup
because feeling confident
is what every women deserves to feel
