"Hey."

I gazed at the message for what seemed like hours, only to actually be minutes, and before I decided to ignore it, I sent a message to brighten the mood.

"I just ruined Ryan's day with my fear of dogs," I smiled as I sent the message, but this didn't didn't stop the girl from asking the question I've been ignoring.

"Hey, do you believe me?"

Here we are, four months into school. I thought our middle school year would be different, and I was right. Everything is different.
