When Harry Potter stands as Draco Malfoy's defence in his Death Eater trial, he is overwhelmed by shock and confusion- enough to not notice the red string that leads directly between them. However, when they return to school to retake their seventh year, Draco is put into a project with Harry, and can't help but notice. Until, that is, their link disappears.
Together, Draco and Harry mount an uprising against the Ministry's fight against the Slytherins. But Harry still doesn't know the truth, and Draco is afraid to tell him.
