I sneaked in through the back door which thankfully, they left unlocked and meticulously made my way up the stairs to the hall that led to my room. As I speculated, they are all asleep in their respective rooms.

When I reached the door to my room, I placed my hand on the door knob and sigh heavily ~ releasing the breath I unconsciously held.
I opened the door and Surprise! Surprise!!
What I saw afterwards was nerve wracking! I really didn't see this coming. I couldn't believe my eyes! Surely none of Jane's teachings prepared me for this.
