Maebara Shiori is a third year student attending Fukurodani Academy in Tokyo. She's friendly, cheerful and somewhat blunt with honesty, living what she calls a 'normal life' as a high school student.

However, when she gets acquainted with the Fukurodani Boys' Volleyball Club, her 'normal life' was thrown into disarray.

What she had once decided was for the best, became broken, and she's forced to realise that she can't escape her past, or her love for a certain sport.
