Malachai Parker's sister Josie never had aa chance in life. She had a chance of one thing: Childbirth. Even after that she didn't survive. She never got to see her little girl, Elizabeth. She left Kai in shock when she said her last word: Take Care of her. Kai now has the responsibilities of a father and not an uncle. Even though Kai tried to give her away, and in that moment Kai knew he couldn't give her up. He would not give her up. Because she was his daughter and it was his duty to love and protect her.
