Nora finds herself lost in Portland while looking for her best friend Vee. She offers up her coat and beanie to a bag lady in exchange for directions, when the bag lady is killed in front of her moments later. Her body disappears from the alley, leaving a distressed Nora alone and scared for her life. She dials the first person who comes to mind, her biology partner who is secretive, mysterious and yet dangerously alluring....
