On her eleventh birthday, Hermione Granger received a letter in the post. Thinking it was a birthday card she opened it up but was shocked when she realised it was a letter stating that she was a witch and had gotten into a wizarding school called Hogwarts. Having always been bullied she soon realised why she had never been able to fit in with the other children at school.
