Prologue: Part One

My eyes trailed down his body, and for the first time I could see that he was a monster. It's not bad enough that he's done the unthinkable, but now this. My back aches from the concrete wall, and my eyes burn from the tears that poor down them.

"Oh, Jezebel," he mumbled his voice so sinister it made my insides twist in fear.

"Please don't," My voice is only a whisper and I couldn't help the awful feeling in my gut. He leans to my ear nipping at it with his canines.

"Where's your mate now?" I coward in fear as his eyes began to glow a eerie yellow. My eyes shot open and for once I felt overjoyed to be where I was. The moment everything changed.
