Eleanor Delamere had always had a strong distaste for the male population. Purely fueled by the many suitors her mother tosses her way in hopes that someone will sweep her aging rebellious daughter off to somewhere far, far away. Eleanor's distaste quickly attracts the attention of a lonely stranger who had been missing the attention of a female in far too long. The pair slowly develop strong almost obsessive attractions. The stranger to Eleanor and Eleanor to her mothers new servant, Muriel. Tensions build, relationships struggle and Muriel fails to realise what she has actually got herself caught up in.
