I tiptoed in the house hoping to not wake my father up. I was late coming home since I was in the nurses office. "*groan*" I freeze in place, not making a single noise. I knew that was my dad. He was making his way towards the kitchen. That gave me an opportunity to run to my room. As soon as he opened the fridge (probably getting a beer) I made a run for it. Up the stairs and into my room. ~ Ava is a 16 year old girl who's been through hell and back. Her mother died when she was 14. Ever since then shes been abused by her dad. He would always say it was her fault that her mother was dead. Because she was never good enough for her parents and was always a disappointment. She started believing what he said and always considered herself as a failure. But the torture didn't stop there. She is constantly bullied at school, mentally and physically.
