In the world of Feryan, there is magic. Magic of all kinds, and filled all creatures. Humans could access this magic, but it was only a certain amount of humans. In this world, one of the mythical creatures are dragons. Yes, dragons. And these dragons get their very own companion, a dragon rider. For generations, males were chosen for dragon riders and mages, although females were able to become one too. It was the misogynistic thought process that did not allow for ladies to become these special roles in the kingdoms. However, when Indigo, a simple, poor girl is forced to be chosen, times start changing. What she was chosen for at the ceremony shocked everyone, she was a dragon rider. A female dragon rider. No one knew what to do since this never happened before but they allowed it, and Indigo wished they didn't. Once she entered the academy she became annoyed with having to prove herself time and time again. She wants answers as to why she was chosen. Whether it be from nymphs, witches, or any mythical creature. But once she does get answers to the questions she has, will it be for the worst, or for the better? Like the old saying goes, knowledge is power, and power can lead to both good or bad scenarios.
