Description
Lizzie is about to find out what life has in store for her and her brother Luke. They had lost everything they knew in just a few days,after a yellow fever epidemic took so much from them. They are being shipped off to a Grandmother they never met, who lived in a sleepy little town in Virginia. Things start out rough for her, til she arrives and meets Jake. He turns her life upside down, she wasn't expecting to find love. His brother and him lived on a farm across from her grandmother. But she soon finds out that someone else has her sights on Jake. Lizzie has already fought for her life, now she has to fight for love. So what is in store for Lizzie? Will her grandmother be kind and sweet like her mother was? Will they be accepted in this little town?
