Rosalina meets Dimitri Beyas as he warns her of what's to come. She must protect her people but learn to also protect herself. She'll do whatever it takes it bring down the kingdom that started a war for their land.

As she learns more about herself, she discovers more about what she can do. And Dimitri and Rose have more in common than she thought.

The Frost have a powerful force they call The Darkness so she sets out with Dimitri to stop it with the boy she barely knows. Along the way Rose learns about Dimitri and they become more reliable on each other than what they ever imagined.
