Author's Note

I was Dark.

Everyone else I had ever known in my life was Light.

The Light were people born into warmth, love. The Darkness, was the opposite.

According to the legends, we were bad people. Cruel. Selfish. Unworthy of love. Incapable of love.

Yet, when I landed my gaze upon those green eyes, my entire being had been filled with warmth. Foreign, but addictive warmth.

He was a mystery, even to himself, yet his eyes told me thousands of tales.

His lips spoke of millions of memories, peculiar, but happy.

And his heart?

His heart radiated infinite love.
