Chapter 1

Magnus Bane is the son to one of the world's richest businessmen, Victor Bane. Magnus' entire life is in New York: his friends, his dreams, and the memory of his deceased mother. He is, however, forced to leave his beloved home, following his father's new business venture to the sunny Los Angeles. Magnus must now survive at a new high school, with his mysterious reputation lingering behind him. He believed that his heart stayed in New York, but will it return to him when he meets the popular, yet secretive Alec Lightwood?
