Twelve-year-old Elodie Leclaire was a normal girl on a normal vacation in Paris. Her family wasn't wealthy or poor, and her main concerns went to the extent of academics.

And then she encountered Angeletta LaBrune on the streets of Paris, and nothing was ever the same again. Parent-nappers, rivaling "organizations," and spy training send Elodie's world spiralling, but what other secrets are there? Is there more to it than what meets the eye?

The one thing she's sure of is that her normal life was now a not-so-normal life, and that Paris was definitely never going to the be the same again.
