The Betwixt was a defining time, a brief period when those who could access the mysterious vim were at the height of their power. Between childhood and adult, parental control and independence, the powers from vim pushed them betwixt and between Lucent and Darkadian.

With vim at peak levels, Betwixt abilities stretched beyond the limitations of human existence. They alone had the strength to combat Darkadians, to protect Lucent society.
