1. The first day

Mia Fitzgerald was a 12 year old girl with blazing red hair. She had green eyes that were stricken with fear. She had more freckle than she could count, but a lot of bruises covered them. Her glasses were plain, black, and cheap.

Her parents died with she was 6. She's been in group homes and the foster system ever since.

Right now she's living with the Roberts. They're abusive and they don't feed her.

She's resorted to broadway and music. So one day when she runs into Lin Manuel Miranda, her world is turned upside down.
